Today I worked on the new layout product for the Plone update of OOoAuthors a bit further. I customized the colors and the header of the test-site. Here is an screenshot of the current test-version:

Since I returned from the OOoCon Beijing I worked on a layout product for the current Plone 3. I develop this product because it is planed to update the OOoAuthors-Site to the current Plone version and so all customization of the site will be lost. Therefore it is necessary to make all this changes in the new Plone environment again. The best way to avoid this extra work for upgrades in the future is to develop an add-on layout product, that could be installed easily on Plone: a just one-click-installation.

In the last days some authors from OOoAuthors discovered that there were some spam accounts on the site. They were able to get an account and put some content with links onto the site.
This leads to the question, if there is a product for the CMS of the site (Plone) to prevent this machine generated accounts and spam. And it is: qPloneCaptchas.
It is an product, that could be easily installed in a Plone-Site (e.g. version 3.1.6). I tried it in my buildout of Plone and it was a little bit complicated. I got a hint from an other Plone user and then it installed.
Now a new user had to read and write down the letters from the captcha. This should prevent machine generated accounts.

In den letzten Tagen habe ich damit begonnen, das Tutorial von Martin Aspeli, Managing projects with zc.buildout auf Plone.org in die deutsche Sprache zu übersetzen. Die ersten vier Abschnitte sind nun übersetzt und können hier auf meiner Homepage gelesen werden.

Heute habe ich die letzten Änderungen an der Übersetzung des Tutorials von Martin Aspeli, Customization for developers vorgenommen und diese nunmehr veröffentlicht. Die Übersetzung befindet sich hier auf meiner Homepage.

In den letzten Tagen konnte ich bereits große Teile des Tuturials von Martin Aspeli von Plone.org übersetzen. Geplante Fertigstellung der ersten Fassung der Übersetzung ist am Wochenende.

Die Arbeit an der Übersetzung von Martin Aspelis Tuturial zu diesem Thema geht weiter. Eine Veröffentlichung strebe ich für das Ende der nächsten Woche an.
