The new LibreOffice extensions site is listed on Plone.org now: http://plone.org/support/sites/libre-office-extensions-site

Plone announced last week one of it's very seldom security patches for today. I had to update four Plone instances with this patch today. Because of the glorious "buildout" it took me only half an hour to patch all my sites. I had only to add a line to my buildout scripts with the patch-egg and every thing went well. The sites are up and running again.

In the last days I worked first on the implementation of a legal disclaimer for extension developers into the extension repository. I finished that and a new footer for the site last weekend. Next I installed a new add-on product, that manages the virus scanning for the content. I get this running today. Now the upload of extensions is virus protected (see the picture below).

I had a short look at the new Extension repository, that I created for LibreOffice, and I saw the number of projects is growing. There are currently fourteen projects on the site and I expect more of them in the next weeks, because we had not going into the wider public with this new sub-project.
The site is currently available under http://extensions-test.libreoffice.org. I created also a new repository for templates under http://templates-test.libreoffice.org. Both sites are running on Plone, a powerfull content and document/file management system.

If you have created an extension or a template for LibreOffice, that you want to publish under a free license, go to the site, create an account for free and publish your extension / template.

I worked on the next steps of the layout for the LibreOffice extension and template center. I made some changes to the main navbar at the top of the site. I worked on the pane where the search results where displayed and moved the list of the categories to the sitebar (see picture below). There are some steps left to finish the layout.

I updated the LibreOffice extension and template site with a new layout. This layout lives in an own product inside the Plone instance. It contains a new cool logo and a special footer (see the picture below). Many thanks to our design team for this new logo.
