I made some progress in my work on the layout for the new LibreOffice extension and template center. I worked on the footer of the new site and get a first draft (see picture below).

I worked on the new layout for the LibreOffice extension and template center and created a nearly empty product. I added then some layout styles using templates from the great Sunburst layout of Plone. The template is now at its first step with a draft of the new logo for the extension site. It's work on progress on my local box.

The licenses were not displayed in the current state of PloneSoftwareCenter, the add-on that I use to create a new extension and template center for LibreOffice. The contributors had to decide, which of the available licenses they want to use for the release of their software / product. But their presetting is not visible in the overview page of their project. I decided to change this behavior and implemented a new column in the table, that displayed all releases (see the picture below). I'll commit this patch in the next days to the community repository of Plone, so that it is available in the LibreOffice extension/template site after the next buildout.

Because some extensions works only in a special version with Linux-x64 I created a new option for releases in the PloneSoftwareCenter. I commited this option some days ago to the Plone community repository. Today I updated the LibreOffice ExtensionCenter site with all the changes I and others did in the last days to PloneSoftwareCenter. See the picture below for the new 64-penguin.

There were a discussion about the choosing of a license in the release page of the projected LibreOffice extension and template center. It was complained that a contributor will not be aware about the choose of the license, because of a drop down field that was already initialized with a default license. I changed the drop down field to a radio format and added a new warning text to the description of the field (see the screenshot below). I think this will solve the issue.

I had some difficulties with the former theme product (plonetheme.basic), because it doesn't work fine with Plone 4.0.7 and after some tweaks it works only fine in the show modus but not in the edit modus. I can't see any lists in the edit modus. I had to edit in html-view. That was very annoying.
Thus I created a new theme product from scratch and changed this new product to the styles of the new Sunburst theme of Plone. The edit mode works fine now and our website team at Frodev.org (the website of the German association Freies Office Deutschland e.V.) can start its work now ;-)
